To help users better manage customer opt-in for text messages, Yardbook includes the following language during the Customer Get Quote Experience.
- By providing your email address and/or phone number, you agree to receive service-related emails and text messages from us. These communications may include estimates, invoices, job updates, and other important information related to your services.
- If you wish to opt-out of these communications at any time, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions provided in the emails or reply “STOP” to a text message.

You can use similar language to obtain approvals offline from your customers.
Additional Tips:
- Be clear and concise. Customers should be able to understand what information you are collecting and how you will use it.
- Be transparent. Let customers know that they can opt out of receiving text messages and emails at any time.
- Be respectful. Customers should feel comfortable providing their phone number and email address to you.
